| Historic Homes |
Are you the proud owner of an antique home or know someone who is? We have a new specialty insurance company that specializes in these types of properties.
Replicating antique construction is very costly, which is why most insurance companies would replace the damaged wide pine planks with strip hardwood or the “wavy’ glass windows with modern plate glass. While the work may be adequate, your home could lose some of it’s historic charm. Additionally, when you have a loss, local building codes may require you to make upgrades to the undamaged portion of your home to plumbing, electrical or other structural changes. Many insurance companies only provide limited coverage for this unexpected work.
Your antique home, or the one your friend or neighbor owns is a treasure. We have an insurance company that values that treasure as much as you do. Give us a call.
