Your windshield is cracked, now what?
All vehicle polices, commercial and personal insurance, have
coverage available for replacing glass that is damaged. This is
found under the “Comprehensive” coverage in your policy.
There is a deductible that may be different from the “Collision”
deductible.
Replacing damaged glass is a fairly easy process. You have
the right to choose which glass shop you’d like to go to. You
have 3 choices to get the glass fixed;
Go to the glass shop of your choice with your insurance policy
information and they will take care of processing the claim
directly for you.
Call the Insurance Company directly at their 800 number for
reporting claims and they will direct you to where to get the
glass replaced.
Call us, your agent, and we will help you get the claim reported
to the company and let you know what shops are in
your area.
Replacing damaged glass is an easy process and can be done very quickly.
