All of you who are receiving this newsletter are buying some or all of your insurance from us and not some website or 800 # company 4 states or more away. The question is why ?

We’re hoping that why has to do with a couple of things. First, like you, we live and work in this community. We support local businesses both personally and through the agency. Our children and grandchildren go to schools here, and they participate in various activities including youth sports and arts programs.

We insure and support many local non-profits, including those youth sports and cultural programs, along with social service agencies that help everyone from children to seniors who are in need. Like you, we care about making this place the best that it can be.

Second, when you need information or suffer a loss, you can stop by any of our 3 offices and talk with us face to face, asking questions and getting answers. When you call our office, you get a real live person answering the phone, and can talk to the same person that you met when you last stopped by. We think that there’s added value to you by providing that level of service, and we’re going to keep it that way.

Lately, there has been an incredible amount of advertising on television promoting those companies that write insurance directly through 800 #’s or the Internet.

They claim to be able to save you large amounts of money on car insurance, yet they don’t know what you are paying... and our companies make us quite competitive in that area in most cases. (You should see the recent quotes we have gotten that put their so-called savings to shame!) We have 7 companies we regularly do business with that insure BOTH homes & autos, and there are additional discounts for placing them together. Have you seen any of these ads ? Neither have we...

When you have a billing problem, claims issue or coverage question, who do you want to call or visit ? This is the question we most like to ask, because we know the answer… We’re here, right here, for you.

We strongly believe that having a local independent insurance agent is the better way to go when buying insurance.
